Zach Friedrich is a Certified Financial Planner™ with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. He was formerly a Director at BlackRock prior to becoming a Financial Advisor. At BlackRock, Zach spent time as a US Wealth Consultant and a Defined Contribution Consultant, where he worked with 401k and 403b plans across the country focusing on enhancing plan design, improving investment menus, and helping plan participants and individuals achieve better financial futures. He is deeply passionate about helping people, especially when it comes to personal finance, defined contribution plans and their participants, financial planning, and wealth management. Zach launched Friedrich Financial because he felt it gave him the ability to help the greatest number of people in a direct and impactful way. Money impacts everyone in a meaningful way and it’s the goal of Friedrich Financial to help people achieve their financial goals so they can focus on what is most important to them.

Interests

Zach currently lives in Ellicott City, MD with his wife Mary, his son James, and his daughter Hannah. When time allows, Zach enjoys playing basketball, skiing, hiking, and golfing.

Education

Zach earned his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Business from The College of New Jersey, where he played football and basketball throughout his time there.
