Ranking and Accolade Methodology Disclosures
PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Advisers (2024): The designation recognizes the top retirement plan advisers in the industry based on quantitative measures. To be listed, advisers had to have a minimum requirement of 50 plan clients or retirement plan assets under advisement of $400 million or more. After meeting the minimum plan or asset count, advisers are highlighted if they have what was designated as a special focus in any particular plan type. This means, 91% - 100% of clients that are 401(k) plan sponsors, or 10 or more 403(b), 457, nonqualified, DB, cash balance, SEP, SIMPLE or MEP/PEP plan clients. Accelerate Retirement or any listed IAR did not pay a fee to participate in the ranking.
NAPA Top DC Advisor Multi-Office Firms (2024): The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) publishes the Top DC Advisor Multi-Office Firms list, which ranks firms based on self-reported defined contribution (DC) assets under advisement (AUA) as of Dec. 31, 2023. The firms listed had to have more than one office/physical location to be included, and had to have in excess of $1 billion in DC assets under advisement. Accelerate Retirement did not pay a fee to participate in the ranking.
Investment News Top Advisors (2024): To compile the inaugural Top Advisors list, InvestmentNews first solicited nominations from advisors, industry professionals, and clients. Only advisors nominated were eligible for the list. All information on the nominees had to be verified by their compliance team before it could be accepted. The final list was determined based on each advisor’s weighted ranking in overall AUM, AUM growth, and client growth (both between September 2022 and September 2023). The InvestmentNews team then tabulated a ranking for each advisor in each category and combined those scores to determine the advisor’s final ranking on the 2024 Top Advisors list. Accelerate Retirement or any listed IAR did not pay a fee to participate in the ranking.
