Blair Stientjes makes it his mission to help employers and employees with their retirement plans. In his role as a strategic partner and independent fiduciary advisor for retirement plans, he focuses on optimizing plan design, investments and vendor relationships to the best interest of the plan participants.

Blair has a unique background of having had work with retirement plan recordkeepers in the beginning of his career and becoming an advisor after realizing that not all recordkeepers and advisors had the client's best interest in mind. With that he became an advisor. Now many years into that journey he is a fierce advocate for his clients and their employees.

He has spoken at conferences, taught fiduciary classes for plan sponsors and has held hundreds, if not thousands, of educational classes for retirement plan participants.

Prior to partnering with Accelerate Blair worked with a top 10 international benefits firm managing and advising on all aspects of employee benefits, retirement plans and executive benefits.

Interests

In his free time Blair loves sailing, kayaking, travel, hiking and cycling.

Education

Blair earned his B.S. in Political Science from UCLA, has three children and lives in the SF Bay area with his wife Kristin.
